When I think of Cape Town, I think of its natural beauty.  Truly, this place is one of the world’s most gorgeous cities.  There are mountains and beaches, an excellent spot to return to Nature, but also quite an engaging nightlife!  Everyone there seemed to welcome me and were so friendly.  I definitely plan on a return trip in the near future.  I keep thinking of Table Mountain, the V&A waterfront, penguin-spotting at Simon’s town, where they were all over on the beach.  So many things!  I loved it, everything from the sights to the food at the best cape town restaurants.

Remember this is only my opinion, but I really think Cape Town might be the most magnificent place I’ve been for scenery than any other city: better than San Francisco, better than Sydney or Rio!  It’s truly something.  According to some reading I’ve done, Cape Town has more mountains than San Francisco has hills (they have 42).  The interesting thing about Cape Town is that the mountains are actually INSIDE the city.  They’re not just a part of the distant scenery: they’re part of what makes up the city itself.  You might compare it to Rio, the way the mountains rise up over the city, but in this case, we’re talking much bigger mountains in Cape Town, so by sheer size they’re more impressive.  It’s absolutely incredible, and my new favorite city in the world.  It’s European and, well, relaxed, while retaining its African qualities, and all of this works together to make me feel comfortable.  I didn’t know I could feel this way about a place, but as a vacation spot, the city is reasonable, with plenty to do, and most of all, so beautiful visually.  Even if the tickets are costly, I recommend you find your way here!
