Big in Singapore
The further you look into Singapore, the more complicated it gets. That’s one of the reasons why it’s such a splendid place to visit for tourists. The first trip is just amazing, as you’re pulled into the energy of this enormously magnetic metropolis, and discover all the fantastic attractions that are visible at a first glance. But repeated visits never take away the thrilling energy of the city state, and there’s always more to see and do, and there’s always another layer. For travelers with a desire to see and do in a new place, where the location gives you energy, and you can move with the excitement, it’s a good idea to consider having your own transportation. There’s a lot to do here, and many sides to Singapore. Car rentals are easy to arrange, and you can find the same splendid hospitality you’ll find in all the other services here.
Having your own transportation means you can negotiate your own itinerary with much more ease, deciding when and where you want to go, and what you’d like to show your guests. It allows you a freedom from the usual timetables that everyone else has to stick to, and it’s easier to be spontaneous, going places you haven’t seen yet, and even making new plans with new friends as your adventure here unfolds. There are many terrific opportunities to find things you love here, and one of the best ways to see Singapore is to allow your schedule some flexibility, so you can follow your nose. If you have any interest at all in pop culture, your path might begin or end with the JCC, Japan Creative Centre.
This just opened in November, 2009, and promises to be a wonderful attraction for any visitor wanting to know Singapore better, and it’s a fantastic way to see how the history and culture of Japan intersects here. They feature a lot of anime and manga, along with traditional art, music, architecture, and fashion in Japan. The government is funding the building for the first five years so the project can get off the ground, and it’s been spectacular in its short life. One of the most exciting moments during the ribbon-cutting ceremony was the introduction of a new robot suit, the Hybrid Assistive Limb, or HAL, which can help the elderly move their arms and legs, and has enormous possibilities for a future we all share.
