Taking the Family to Charlotte, NC
Heading to North Carolina once again on business. All the traveling I have done there this will be the first time with the family. I have a few days of business and then a well deserved family vacation before we get back to the fall school schedule for us all. We booked accommodations at Charlotte luxury hotels so everyone would be happy. Central to everything close to where I need to be for business and close to shopping, resturaunts and museums for the family while I am working. When the work is done the vacationing for everyone will begin!
We are planning a spa day and pampering for the girls and on the same day a day of sports and sporting activities for the guys. Staying where we are we will be able to take advantage of several area attractions. Another day for the whole family at Six Flags Water Park where every one will be able to have a great time cooling off and enjoying a day in the water. Another day we will do some driving into the country side learning about some North Carolina history, seeing the scenery and exploring antique shops and the like.
We were able to arrange some activities for the kids though the hotel. This will give us the ability to get some much needed time for our selves and this will also give the kids the chance to interact with other children and have some time being independent from the parents.
All in all I think this will work out well. It is the first time we are planning a combined business and work trip together. With the kids being older and a little more independent this should work out very well and come just in time for the end of the summer and beginning of the school year.
