U.S. Open Tennis Tournament Sure to be Exciting

The 2008 tennis season is winding down. The U.S. Open is all that remains for the Grand Slam tournaments. I fully expect the Williams sisters to dominate this and to play each other in the final match for women’s singles. The U.S. Open tennis tournament is always exciting, especially when these two outstanding athletes play each other.

I always have to wonder how their father feels when they play each other. I’ve seen him sitting exactly at the net line so he won’t appear to be in favor of either one. I guess for him, as long as one of his girls wins, he wins. I just think it must be so difficult.

I wonder how Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will par. Nadal won the French Open and then 2 weeks later he won the Wimbledon. I bet one of two things: Federer will play with unyielding fury or he will be easily defeated.

Either way the tournament should be exciting and worth watching.
